A two-part structured experience

1. 01Build a concrete, human connection between patient and dental professional.
2. 02Gather the medical and dental information needed for safe, complete care.
3. 03Diagnose.
4. 04Identify priorities.
5. 05Understand the patient's expectations, discomforts and concerns.
6. 06Prepare, when needed, a separate presentation of the oral health portrait.

Approximate duration: 30 to 60 minutes depending on your situation.

1. 01Welcome and introduction to the team and the studio.
2. 02Review and discussion of medical and dental information.
3. 03Discussion of the reason for the visit.
4. 04Identification and discussion of patient expectations and needs.
5. 05Identification of discomforts or concerns.
6. 06Additional questionnaires when relevant (oral habits, hygiene, caries risk, diet/nutrition, TMD, sleep apnea, others depending on context).
7. 07Intraoral and extraoral photographs.
8. 08Complete dental examination.
9. 09Radiographs if relevant.
10. 10Full-arch intraoral scan.
11. 11Initial discussion of observations.

When the situation calls for a more thorough analysis, a second appointment may be scheduled to present the oral health portrait, the priorities, the options and the proposed treatment sequence.
