Frequently asked questions

The questions new patients ask us most often. Can't find yours? Call 514 863-7805.

Appointments

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes. Book online or call 514 863-7805.

How long does the first appointment take?

A focused consultation takes 30 minutes, a complete examination about an hour, and a complete examination with cleaning about an hour and a half. For a complex case, a second appointment at the consultation desk is used to go over the treatment plan.

Are you open evenings or weekends?

For now, Wednesday until 8 p.m.; the studio is closed Thursday through Sunday. Dr Ramdani plans to open the studio full time: new hours are coming.

How do I cancel or move an appointment?

Call 514 863-7805 at least 24 hours ahead, ideally 48. Fees apply from the second appointment missed without notice.

Coverage and costs

Do you accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?

Yes. Bring your card to the first visit.

Does RAMQ cover dental care?

For children under 10 and recipients of a financial assistance program with a claim booklet, several services are covered.

Do you accept my private insurance?

Yes. Bring your insurance card.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Cash, debit and credit card.

Will I know the price before a treatment?

Yes. You receive a written estimate before we begin, and you decide.

Care

I am afraid of the dentist. What do you do?

We explain every step before doing it, and you can ask for a break at any time. Tell us when you book.

Will I be obliged to have treatment after the examination?

No. You receive the information and the options, including what happens if nothing is done.

Do you place implants?

Dr Ramdani does not perform the surgical phase. He can refer you to a colleague, within the studio or outside it, to place the implant. We then make the crown or the denture, and handle the follow-up. Single implant.

Do you see emergencies?

Yes, the same day if possible, during our hours. Call first; do not come without confirmation. Dental emergency.

Access

Is there parking?

Yes: on the street, and private parking behind the building, with entry from Saint-Hubert Street.

Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

No. It is one floor up, with a staircase at the entrance.
