Whitening
Lightening the shade of the teeth, in a supervised way, once the mouth is healthy and the necessary care is complete.
When to consult
- The shade of your teeth bothers you.
- You have finished your treatment and would like to move on to aesthetics.
- You are considering veneers or crowns and want to set the reference shade first.
Good to know
Whitening acts only on natural enamel. Crowns, veneers and fillings keep their shade: if they are visible, that has to be taken into account in the plan.
How it works
- A prior examination: decay, gums and sensitivity are checked before anything is undertaken.
- Recording of the starting shade and photographs.
- Digital impression and fabrication of the trays in the workshop.
- Explanation of the product, the duration and the frequency, then supervised application.
- A check of the result and of sensitivity, and recording of the final shade.
Frequently asked questions
Does it make the teeth sensitive?
Temporary sensitivity is common during treatment. It can be managed: we adjust the frequency or the product.
How long does the result last?
It varies from person to person, with diet and habits. Occasional upkeep is often needed.
