Targeted consultation

A 30-minute appointment for one specific question: a denture, an aesthetic concern, a second opinion on a plan proposed elsewhere, or a discomfort whose urgency you want to know.

When to consult

  • You have a specific question about an existing denture or restoration.
  • You would like a second opinion on a treatment plan proposed elsewhere.
  • You are hesitating over an aesthetic treatment and want to understand the options.
  • You have a localised discomfort and want to know whether it needs prompt attention.

Good to know

A targeted consultation answers one question; it does not give a picture of the whole mouth. For that, a complete examination is needed.

How it works

  1. A conversation about the specific reason for your visit.
  2. An examination limited to the area or the question concerned.
  3. A radiograph only if it answers that question.
  4. An explanation of the possible options, what follows from each, and what happens if nothing is done.

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace a complete examination?

No. A targeted consultation deals with one specific subject. If you want an overall picture and a care plan, book the complete examination.

Can I come only for a second opinion?

Yes. Bring the proposed plan and your recent radiographs if you have them: that often spares you new ones.

The information on this page is general. Only an examination can tell what suits your situation.
